Dr. Johnson received a Bachelor and Doctorate degree in Chemical/ Biochemical Engineering from UWO and gained valuable expertise in areas of industrial research, experimental design, process development and specialization in the optimization of chemical and biochemical reactors. Dr. Johnson supervised the Ethanol Fermentation project at Labatt-Interbrew. She has consulted globally in the area of bio-ethanol, biodiesel and lignocellulosic ethanol and now holds the position of President of her own private research facility, BTR Laboratories, Inc.
Dr. Whippey received his BSc. and PhD. in the U.K. before joing UWO in 1966. He has served a full and distinguished career on the faculty of UWO, earning numerous awards for teaching excellence. Dr. Whippey was involved in specialized research projects surrounding Image Processing and its applications to biological and other structures. He served on many committees in the Department of Physics and Faculty of Science at UWO, as well as numerous Outreach Committees in the London, Ontario community with many years helping local London high schools as a High School Liaison. Dr. Whippey brings almost forty-five years of scientific experience to the DiAxiom projects.
